Carpentry and Construction
While I am a student at Savannah College of Art and Design, I have had an opportunity to work in our local Production Design Shop. I have been an active volunteer since 2023. And progressively became a Work Study.
During my time at the shop, I have fine-tuned my skills and fabricating processes.
Working with a team, we have built and finished stage pieces, and props using sanding, painting, woodworking, and detailing techniques.
I have also assisted with stage lighting set up and adjustments for live performances.
I am a part of a team with other Work Study's. All creations of the stage pieces are a team effort. I am not taking credit for the designs. However, I did help with the carpentry, construction, and painting techniques used to bring these designs to life.
